This notice is at the top of the labels page: "USPS is experiencing significant delays across their delivery network. Please consider using other carrier options that may provide a better buyer experience."
So it's on the sellers to find a quicker way to ship to buyers in a pandemic/political world. Ebay "generously" extended shipping estimates by a single day. (First Class 3 - 5 days. Priority 2 - 5 days.) I've personally been experiencing shipping delays as well as lost packages. Since most of my packages are small, UPS and FedEx are not options. So, what are "other carrier options?" Is anyone else having shipping issues?

It's only going to get worse, OCN. If there was another option, believe me I'd take it!

USPS has gone from bad to worse. Now they're losing my purchases. I had 2 items marked as delivered to my home and nada-nothing-zilch in the mail box!
So Monday I have to wait and grab the delivery person and find out where they delivered the packages.
On the upside I shipped to Alaska (from CT) and it reached the buyer in 3 days.
I don't know what to think (or do anymore.)

Not to worry.....they are completely capable of pulling off national mail-in voting.

I hope they locate your lost packages, vernon. I shipped a Schreiner brooch to a buyer, and although it shows delivered, she never received it. She has checked with family, friends and neighbors and they haven't seen it so apparently it was mis-delivered. At least I'm off the hook but I feel very badly that the brooch is floating around somewhere and she's out a decent sum of money. I check with her every couple days but it hasn't turned up and I doubt it will.
🤣😅😀 @wessleysbest

Yes, I had a package that was delivered ( at least it was delivered) outside eBay's magic deliver by date. I got dinged for it, but then a week later the ding was gone. I didn't call in about it, so it was eBay doing the right thing at the right time.
Yes, this is all a political situation. The GOP has been trying for years to privatize the USPS. With the fear that has been created around the USPS about mail in voting, they just may get it done. If you think it can't get worst, hold on to your hats, the road is getting bumper all the time. Think I would start rethinking "free shipping".

I too have a package that has been hung up. Shipped out on August 19th and I just checked and hallelujah it says out for delivery today. 🤞🏼
I know a lot of resellers are having issues with delivery. I’ve been pretty lucky. I am nervous to talk about it though for fear I may jinx myself.
Good Luck everyone,

I ordered something from Oakville Ontario last week.
It took almost a week to get here (Ottawa). The Canada Post online tracking showed it got as far as Mississauga Ontario (approx 20 km from Oakville) where it was stuck in processing for 4 days.
I sent a parcel out yesterday through Canada Post to exactly the same location and tracking shows it is out for delivery today.
Crazy, how does this happen?!
Quite a few sellers I know locally are just not listing on online venues at the moment because of shipping delays.

I'm sitting here shaking my head.
I jinxed my delivery ... now the tracking says "rerouted due to processing error, possible delay".
Back to biting my nails.
So now I have to remember the old cliches:
Watched tracking never arrives.
Do not count your parcels until they're delivered.
A parcel on the doorstep is worth two "en route"
LOL.

I've been hearing stories about Canada Post lately that make it sound like Canada wants to join the USA in misery. Isn't it enough for y'all to be stuck on the same continent with us?

I don't know who to blame for this one, Canada Post or USPS.
I had a return coming from US and the buyer sent me the tracking number. I checked on it every few days - it made it to Jamaica NY station and said it had left the country - that was July 23. It never moved from there for a month. I called Canada Post but they could do nothing since it was still in US (never actually spoke to a real person). I suggested to buyer that she file a lost package claim to see if that would jog it loose - turned out she already had done so but USPS said they could do nothing since it had crossed into Canada. Stalemate.
Finally it showed up in Mississauga sorting station and got to me the next day.
Buyer was very nice and we maintained a good relationship through it all.

Wow Pheasant after much delay, that turned out well.
My package made it yesterday, after 13 days. PHEW!
I thought y’all might like this one. My printer died last week. Went to Wally to get a new one. They did not have a single printer in stock, of any brand. Went to Wally on line, out of stock there too. Tried the usual stores around town. All out of stock. Apparently with everyone working from home, printers are VERY HARD to get.
Went to Hewitt Packard on line they had some. Decided to check Wally again. They were now dropshipping them for HP. Decided to order through them, because their return policy is so much easier. Run to store vs ship back to Cali.
Waiting on it now and it can not get here soon enough. Went to the PO a few days ago. The cost for my 4 packages was $21 over what I would have paid on line with half of the insurance. Did y’all know that First Class mail at the PO only goes to 13 ounces still? What a rip off!!!
Please pray for me to get my printer soon y’all.
