Would this qualify as a book chain bracelet? If so, can anyone tell me about when it may have been made. I have read that they were popular during the Victorian Era but have no idea if it is that early. Thanks!

I haven't listed much of anything since my hubby went on medical /disability leave about three years ago. Now that he is back to work I will have to start up again.
Not sure if it is one word bookchain or two, probably two.

ocn, I'm glad to hear your hubby is well enough to work again, and you will be listing! That's great news.
Welcome back peachstategal. To rekindle your memory, bookchain necklaces were popular during the mid - late 19th century, so called because as no doubt you know, the rectangular folded-over links looked like little books. Though not the same construction, the term is used to describe chain links like those on your bracelet. I would use it also. My Victorian jewelry books show book chain as one word. I don't think it would matter in search results if shown as one word or two. Google Victorian Bookchain necklace and you will find several examples, although 20th century pieces come up in the search too.
