How will multi-item listings of non-identical items and Lots of identical products show in the new buyer experience Buy Box? Will they populate one of the 4 Buy Boxes or require buyers to do additional searches to find these multi-quantity listings?
For a multi-item listing of non-identical items how does a seller know which upc to use in the item specifics field?
Will the listing show to buyers who search for a item in the listing whose upc is not included in the item specific field?

Ever notice Mr Ted that if you ask a hard question the blues disappear?
That's why I never bother with the weekly chats anymore.

I have looked at the page and I list all my items in Sporting Goods and that category does require all new item to be listed with a UPC Code. If an item I have listed does have a UPC Code I use it. Over half of my inventory does not have any UPC Codes.
I am just wondering if I should start looking for a new site to sell on.
Am I still going to be able to list all of my inventory?
I cannot make a living just selling the items with UPC Codes.

What about wholesale lots? For some things it is not profitable/cost effective to list/ship each item separately but lotted together the items have value. There are specific categories for wholesale lots.

Yep.
Trying to catalog this category...

...is going to be futile, and is meaningless.

eBay (Bob Kupbens) has already said that some categories won't conform to a product-based model. While the product-based format will impact most categories it won't affect all of them.
