Anyone know what decade on this chair? Side/vanity chair? Possible maker? Thank you.

Years ago I purchased this chair for a few dollars and knew that I had something a bit special. Up until now it has just been languishing, unused. I'd like to have it reupholstered----but is it worth it?

It's not in great shape upholstery-wise, as the material doesn't look at all original and the "stuffing" (100% foam) is deteriorating and sifting out like sand.

It's  24" high and the round seat is something like 26" in diameter.

I've spent hours online looking and looking and cannot find this chair ANYWHERE. The label on the bottom reads Los Angeles, CA for the "Custom Foam."

Please-----any i.d., ANY info on this piece greatly appreciated. Thank you.
