Hi there. Recently I've bought a Gucci handbag for my wife from a seller that had a copy of the invoice from a French Gucci store located in La Valle Outlet. The bag went through eBay Authentication and 1 day before they receive it the seller told me his daughter messed up the packages and sent me the wrong bag. Since she wasn't sure I told her to wait for eBay Authentication, since they would notice if the bag wasn't the one annouced. OK, so on December 4th eBay authenticated the bag. Thing is that when receiving the bag it wasn't the bag annouce, even after checking through chat with an eBay agent that the pictures from authenticators matched the bag in the ad. How can they authenticate a handbag if they don't realized that it doesn't match the one sold? I don't mind keeping the wrong bag since I'm abroad, however I'm not even sure if it's authentic. Can someone please help me identify if it is? Thanks!

I have said it many times that the eBay authentic Program is a JOKE. Even when they get it right, they find a way of getting it wrong. I will ask a good friend if it’s authentic for you.

I didn't think bags sold in the US and shipped internationally qualify for authenticity guarantee?? But, the bag you received is an outlet bag and it IS authentic.

Hi Jill. I'm from Brazil and been using a forwarding company from Miami to received goods for 10+ years. So pretty much i'm covered when the item is in Miami, after forwarding it to me i am on my own because of eBay policies. Thanks and have a good one!
