eBay policy on feedback continues to "tie sellers hands" - Since sellers now only have the option of 'positive' or 'report a buyer', I just avoid leaving feedback altogether. With the increase in return fraud/scams I am now focusing on protecting my account/reputation and this means NO time to leave feedback for buyers. Classic example of a few bad apples ruining things for the rest..... Sure, 95% of my buyers are not scammers or fraudsters, but the ones who are usually succeed in screwing me out of money , product, or both!! Seller protection is complete **bleep** and everytime I see 'Seller update' messages from eBay, I know more of IT is about to roll downhill....

There feedback system SUX's for buyers too.
1st I have to wait 7 days to leave a neutral or negative feedback, wow is that the cool down period, or a just hoping I forget to leave feedback. Constructive feedback should make companies and people better. My wife and I started a restaurant in the Yelp era, some customers can be petty and it shows, you have to trust people/buyers see thru the petty remarks.
2nd - this statement "The seller received automatic 5-star ratings for other aspects of this transaction." **bleep**. This looks like I cannot trust Ebay's system at all, if all transactions are automatically given 5 stars, this system is rigged. All buyers suffer from this self inflated "system" it is not honest.
