In the past I have had 'excellent' service from ebay and their staff, and migrated a good deal of Amazon business here.  Since the covid thing they virtually closed their customer service down completely.  As a buyer with a problem their well thought out new website leaves me with no way to contact them about the problem.  It takes me in circles. I have another problem that is very complicated and after 3 emails still no resolution. Apparently I am now expected to waste my time typing a long chain of correspondence when a live human could get these issues resolved in minutes.  Needless to say I am extremely disappointed in the ridiculous nearly nonexistent service I now receive from ebay, and its beginning to look like the quality service and reason I came here no longer is going to exist.  It does not look like they intend to restaff the phones and I am becoming rapidly disenchanted.

Because of the virus, ebay had to switch from a mostly phone in customer service system to just about all online one.  Since the call center ws located in the Philippines it is subject to what ever social distancing laws that government made, and who knows when it will reopen. The phone system is working at least on a limited basis now, though I don't know how hard it is to get through to them.
