Do you notice that it's cut off at the middle of the front lower part? The seam, that alone would make me pass on this item.

could you further explain? i don't see what you are referring to, the seam, cut off at the middle of the front lower part?

The trim has to have a beginning and an end. It's impossible to have one continuous (circular) piece and there's going to be an overlap where the 2 sides meet.
There's nothing wrong with the bag or the trim.
