I have gotten so frustrated with that couple at the flea market. I guess I should say half of a couple. Nobody has seen the wife/girlfriend since February/March. Lol. The man says she is listing on Saturday mornings. He thinks we are stupid. Saturday in a flea market IS the vendor's busiest day. Lol. I guess she got tired of the nastiness from him too.
Around the same time she disappeared, the man brings me to the side one day and tells me how he has three white people (his words not mine) that say they have seen me stealing. I talked to the other vendors in the flea market and they said they never had that problem with me. He has video cameras. I don't steal it is against my religion. I was offended and angry. I started wearing my job uniform in there on Saturday mornings. I work for the federal government. There is no reason for me to steal went to college in graduate school, sister a physician, mother an educator, father has lakefront property. And , I told his customers, staff and other vendor's that he steals from himself all the gold and silver he sells to me.
Yesterday, he tells me, "You always come here looking for gold. We don't sell any gold unless it is a mistake." Thinking to myself, 'You make a lot of mistakes.' Lol. I gave him two 925 earrings from the costume jewelry section. He tells me I have to wait 30 minutes before I get a price. He missed the markings. Lol. Dang. Today, I got a Jose Jay cz 925 heart charm bracelet for $3 from his employee.
And this 30 minute rule... so unfair. God Bless Shawn in the grave, but when he was living I found some authentic Chanel earrings in his $1 bin, when I paid for them he looked at me like, ' How did I miss these?' Yet, he allowed me to pay a dollar.
I know this is a business. I know I should stop venting and complaining. Someone told me the flea market man did the same thing to him. He gave him a pair of 14k gold earrings from the dollar/costume jewelry bin and he said he made a mistake but they were $175. I told you he is not prejudice, someone said me that he got a black girlfriend, but I doubt that is true. I doubt a cat or dog would want something so vile or nasty. Lmao. Customers make fun of his toes being criss crossed and not walking straight because he is ill.
The last time I took my Praxis test one of the employees thought I pressed the call button when in fact another employee was trying to direct her as to where to sit the next candidate. Sigh. I was interrupted.
Always place a HAPPY price on your items. You never know, one of your buyers may be HAPPY to buy it from you.
