Re: Vintage Items

For starters I’d suggest you reshoot the invoice and make sure it’s focused. Then you need to edit and lighten it. My old eyes can’t read a thing. Way too dark for me.

Re: Vintage Items

Interestingly, that phone number still belongs to a business associated with Scottish imports, although not apparently at that same Seattle address.

That phone number was most recently owned by  Hector Russell Scottish Imports

Hector Russell being a  prime Scottish kilt maker since the 1880s

Don't know if that's a clue.

Is it a sporran?

Re: Vintage Items

That would be my guess. Especially since it’s a Scottish company which I couldn’t read til others did. Quite the placement for a taxidermy animal head!

The leather pouch with the tassels is a sporran.

The leather belt/buckle and chain are the 'chain and belt' or 'belt' and these are often sold separately.

The weasel is err....well a bit of a joke, methinks.

Re: Vintage Items

Tried looking at it many times and cannot make the name out no matter how well I see it. Does not look any better in my hand and in front of my face unfortunatly.

I had to look up "sporran," never knew the official name for it.  Thanks, I learned something new today!
