Removing Sticker Residue from Jeans

I have a new with tags pair of high end jeans with a lot of sticker residue.....they are dark so one does not actually see where the sticker was but I want to get rid of the stickiness!

In the past I have used duck tape and had success but not this time.

Obviously I don't want to launder them. Any tips?

Maybe point a hair dryer at it and try the tape then? Or scratch gently with a fingernail?

I saw a list of tips using 3-In-One Oil. Comes out cleaner than it sounds.   Check on that, maybe?  Best of luck, they sound great!

Both are great ideas! I see so many vintage NWT items and even not that old ruined by the leg sticker. There needs to be another way.
