Is this an authentic Coach

Good morning!

I am looking for help to authenticate this handbag as a Coach or is it a fake?

Thank you in advance 😊DSCN7900.JPGDSCN7901.JPGDSCN7902.JPGDSCN7903.JPGDSCN7904.JPG

Re: Is this an authentic Coach

Just based on the creed and serial number, it appears to be fake.

If manufactured after 1994, the creed should read like this with no gaps:

THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN [COUNTRY OF ORIGIN] OF

COMPLETELY NATURAL GLOVE-TANNED COWHIDE. THE VARIATIONS IN THE GRAIN

ARE CHARACTERISTIC OF NATURAL FULL GRAIN LEATHER.

The serial number should read like this:  xxx-xxxx

Also check the quality of the stitching, etc.

Even if your first sentence were correct and if the bag were fake, why would you think the creed would read as you claim it should? Why would a signature jacquard (canvas) bag have a creed that describes a leather bag?

Unless you are expert in a brand, it's not a good idea nor is it helpful to try to authenticate. What if the OP destroyed and discarded her bag based on your "opinion?"

Re: Is this an authentic Coach

Thank you for speaking up.  I wondered how the first poster would know about Coach bags after I saw their listings. I was just trying to confirm if it was real or a fake before I decided if I would keep it. I didn't want to keep it if it was a knock off.
