I'm looking more closely at a scarf that I bought last month at the Hermes in Paris - particularly at the tags.
Back in the day, we could assure everybody that if the tag had anything on it that wasn't in French or English, the scarf was definitely counterfeit.
My new scarf - tag says 100% silk - seda - seta - seide
Dry Clean Only
Limipeza en Seco
Pulitura a Secco
Trockenreinigung
Everything in French is on the reverse side of the tag.
So much for hard and fast rules, eh?
I think we can assume that this change went into effect this season, but I'm not betting the farm that this is true!
warmest regards to all,
Vanessa
