Help with authenticating a Coach Briefcase

Hi.  Before I go about cleaning this briefcase up...can the experts tell me if it's authentic?  Thanks. Is it a Willis Briefcase?  Thanks in advance!

Bump😁. Is the serial number just so wrong? Everything else about the briefcase seems great.  

If anyone has suspicions, I'd love to hear!  (I can still return this and I'd rather be safe than sorry.)

It's authentic. I didn't respond because I had hoped someone would respond including the name of the style.

It looks to be an early Beekman type...do not know the exact style #.
