Help authenticate my coach bags?

Help, I hope everyone is staying safe!

I have two Coach bags listed. I have had them both independently authenticated on Poshmark and Mercari, however I would love if I could add to my listings that they have also been verified by the most knowledgeable online community here on eBay. If anyone has a moment could you take a peek? Thanks 🙂

Re: Help authenticate my coach bags?

I have a few comments.

You say you had the bag "independently authenticated" on Poshmark and Mercari. I'm not sure their "experts" are dependable.

Poshmark is a hotbed for sellers of fakes who know that PM doesn't remove reported fakes and there have been cases where their "experts" have determined that AUTHENTIC items are fake and have removed THOSE listings and sellers! (I don't know "austindarla" on PM but if she's authenticating by finding other google listings of the same style, thereby determining items are authentic, that's dangerous and she's bound to make mistakes. (She did google image searches and asserts that both bags match others so they're authentic.)

For the other site, I don't know enough about Mercari's integrity yet but have seen where Mercari does remove fakes when they've been reported by more than one person. So that seems to be a good sign. OTOH, there are so many anomalies when it comes to Coach that I worry about a genuine listing being reported and removed because people depend on some of the inaccurate "authenticity guides" they've read.

I don't believe nor feel confident to read, "This bag has been verified on both Poshmark and Mercari."

As for the listings you've asked about, I have a couple of questions and comments.
1. On the Edie listing, 3 of the 12 pictures are stock and/or google images that do nothing to help you prove authenticity and in fact violate the intellectual property rights of the owners of those images.

If the other listings are your own pictures of the actual items, the bag looks fine.

Again, there's no reason nor right to use others' pictures. Do your own work.

2. The 9206 bag, the pictures of the actual items seem okay but I don't know if the bag is the actual item or if pictures (all or some) are found on the internet. Are the pictures on the blue background your own pictures?

These are JMO but I think my concerns and suggestions are valid because with highly faked brands, educated buyers want to know that what they're seeing is what they'll get.

Re: Help authenticate my coach bags?

Hi! Thanks so much. To your points- the people on poshmark you are referring to actually told me as soon as I put up three listings (these two and another) that one of mine was fake and warned me it was against poshmark policy to have a fake up. There are a lot of other private messages you aren’t able to read but I buy no means assert they are experts. I just know they were able to spot- and immediately tell me- one was a fake. They worked with me for an hour or so, I don’t think they were just googling.

mercari actually makes you take your listing offline and examine a series of pictures of each item they ask for of the bag to determine authenticity. When and if it is verified you are then allowed to list it under their authenticated bag section

edie bag: the two stock photos i added because A lot of people like to see original company stock pictures compared to the actual purse to notice any defects. Not about doing my own work  I can assure you but I understand the point and will take them down. The other photos are off mine.

the coach 9206 purse pics are all mine. Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply.
