Hi
I’ve attached a photo of a ‘ Chanel’ T-shirt that I brought 5 yrs ago in a charity shop, when I brought it it was purely down to the look and style , so I wasn’t bothered that there were no labels on it.
Now that I’ve decided to sell it, I need to know if it’s a genuine Chanel peice or not ???
Does anyone know how I can tell without any
labes ? Or does anyone recognise it ?
I d really appreciate your help ,
Thank you !!!
paula

Unless the shirt is hung crookedly, the lettering isn't even straight.
I periodically find these fake Chanel Ts in thrifts - the first one I found was really well done but had the same characteristics as the OP's shirt - no labels or anything.
@paula0741 You were right to come here and check it with the experts.

I would not list this item. You are just opening yourself up to an SNAD. With no tags you cannot prove it is legit. Even with tags it is hard to prove.

Nope I wouldn't sell it as a Chanel shirt. That a SNAD waiting to happen.

Not only SNAD is a risk but bigger is VERO involvement.

It's not a "fashion piece" it's a fake.

Agree that it is NOT a fashion piece. It is an illegal counterfeit that should be destroyed. BTW there’s a very easy way to tell regardless of the opinion of others here. The font on your shirt is NOT Chanel‘s font.

This new board really is a mess. Am I the only one who sees the red fake Chanel tshirt on the first page under the post?

No, @jsales0. Now I do see it on the main page but it doesn't even enlarge.
In this case, it was an easy call from just one picture. How are we going tot authenticate items when multiple large and detailed pictures are needed?

@jennalf_6317 Did someone tell you that you would be employed by eBay and eBay would pay you to post product reviews, write forum posts, or grab orders? This is a scam, and they are setting you up to steal from you. The scammers will earn your trust with fake proof of their system, perhaps even let you withdraw very small payments, then they will tell you that you have to pay them to be able to withdraw more payments.
This is called a task scam or an order-grabbing scam. The fake company might use the name "eBay Mall" or a different name. Either way, it's a scam that has nothing to do with the real eBay.
eBay doesn't pay people to write forum posts, write product reviews, or grab orders. No legitimate company pays for this type of "work."
If the scammers ask you to sign up for a cryptocurrency account, don't do it. Don't give them any money; you won't get any of it back. More info: https://malwaretips.com/blogs/ebay-job-scam/
