I've never even heard of them, so surely they're not highly faked...???
It's a cool looking sweater, though... use the site as your guideline. And if it's out of production, add a bit more!

Anyone who sells luxury labels should know Etro. One of my absolute faves. Sweater looks fine to me but I’m no expert and only own a few pieces. Our known and usually discussed recommended pro doesn’t list Etro as a label they do but I wouldn’t be surprised if they agreed to do it if asked. (If you decided to authenticate it).
ive never checked to see if they’re faked but prob are-they’re a highly collected label within a smaller international collecting community. JMO

Thanks for your detailed response.
Don't you think the stitching is poor? Both the tag and inside label seem badly stitched, but it might be just because it is a older sweater?
I know nothing about Etro, never owned anything by them, so I might just be paranoid.

Try and get it authenticated. I think they probably are faked. Don’t list it.

I know of ETRO but not of Etro XL.
I own a few of them in skirts, jackets, sweaters, and for my husband shirts and ties.
I'm now wondering if ETRO XL would be their diffusion range for plus sizes?

I thought XL is just the size of the sweater?
