What to do about a warranty

Good morning, someone knows what to do: I bought a laser machine June 28, I received the item in the first days of July, I started using it in August. The vendor had published that the laser machine had a 24-month warranty, the machine failed me on September 13, 6 weeks after I started using it. I already sent messages to the seller on ebay but he has not answered me and I am very worried about that, I paid for the machine $ 3,300 dlls

Warranties on Ebay are not worth the paper they are written on, the item must come from the mgfr. You can file an item not as described case on Paypal, but you are responsible for return shipping.

@nalf_77

Is it the item you bought the Square Trade warranty for?

If it is, file a claim with Square Trade.

Have a great day.

What to do about a warranty

Actually, warranties are valid that are NOT sold directly by the Mfg. about 90% of the time. Faucets, dishwashers, toilets, pool pumps, ac units, paint, tv's, computers, tools, auto parts, etc. are ALL sold by retailers, who buy them from Local Distribution Centers, who buy them from Bigger Dist Centers, that get them from the Mfg. 3,4 sometimes 8 steps away from the Mfg.

It's the 'international', non name brand items that the warranty is there for comfort only, but you cannot use it.

Many Big Screen TV's have a 1 year, 2 year warranty!! all over the box. Read the details, that's for 'Parts Only', labor is only 90 days. And.. you get to take it in (good luck back in the day for 60" big screens).
