Seller iprogadgetcom scammed me

Recently I purchased a iphone 8S screen replacement from seller iprogadgetcom and despite their description of the high quality product it's faulty and touch id is not working. When I provided photo evidence the seller claims it's damaged and it's not their product. Image attached.

Now i lost my money and the option to add feedback has disappeared. This is the first time something like this had happened to me. I have been using ebay for more than 5 years now. Is there anyone can help me understand this?

Looks like after a certain period ebay forgets about the purchase and the scammers walk scot-free.

Doesnt matter what the seller says, file an item not as described case, you have thirty days on Ebay, sounds like you are past that? But you have six months at Paypal, but you will be responsible for return shipping, if he wants it back. You have sixty days to leave feedback.
