Thank you again Sadiesshop for your help.
I'm not very computer saavy. I upgraded to IE9 from a microsoft prompt on my computer and for the most part I'm pleased with it. I also use Microsoft Security Essentials as my virus etc. program. I always use my computer's suggestions for all upgrades and downloads.
Computer Technology is not a primary interest of mine so I tend not to experiment.
I understand, Dejavudolly.
Despite appearing somewhat adventurous,
I'm quite cautious in regard to computers...
I've found Firefox to be more secure, stable and versatile
than either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
(Chrome is "porous" compared to Firefox, M$ IE, less stable).
And Firefox has an ample array of ad-blocking and
script-blocking extensions available to further improve its security,
without hindering its functionality.
(Have AdBlock and NoScript installed, to SELECTIVELY
allow / deny web-content).

A few months ago, when first setting up new Windows 7
computer,
was prompted by Windows to upgrade I.E. 8
to I.E. 9.
(Out of curiosity, I did; Should've kept I.E. 8 instead).
Upon completion of upgrade of I.E. 8,
one of the first message-dialogs conveyed by I.E. 9 was...
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close..." 😐

Thank you Shirley!!! I have to take pictures of her in her "new" short dress. She looks much prettier now.
I hope they repair this photo problem soon.
Sadiesshop I love that Japanese Geisha doll, she's very beautiful. I'd love to come across one as nice. Her kimono is wonderful and I love her hairdo.
I have a small collection of nice antique Japanese porcelain which I love. Most of it is early Kyoto Satsuma and one drop dead fabulous 9" Fukagawa bowl with an early mark. Love that Asian "stuff" but Dolls reign supreme - lol!
Thanks for the tips on Firefox too.

did I ask this? A Doll a Day?
Any doll?
I just got Sinami, on the right:

Hmm, not seeing the "inset picture" option.
She is a Himstedt from 2008, who I have been wanting since 2008!
I love her exotic look!

Miss IDEAL Terry Twist 1961. I adopted her 4 years ago.
I feel a need to share her photos online as her price on ebay crashes. I feel that recent photos of her sales threads on ebay does not do her justice. She is very beautiful with high colors on her face. She is more beautiful on photos than in real life, a photographer's doll.
Thanks for starting this thread.

((((Chocas group of American Child dolls))))
Zip, can I request a viewing of the sweet sock doll your daughter gave you?? I can't tell you how often I think her!
(((BMD)))
I think of that sock doll often myself, but it doesn't belong to me--- I think MAYBE it belongs to LPB?
What kinda crazy is that within the last couple of years I've started to pick up the old nelke sock dolls/baby toys and I think of that one every time 🙂

I've been having some luck with using the paperclip, then image and browse. Somehow it goes to my picture file on the computer. This is F&B's Alyssa, 22" vinyl from 1960 A/O.
