Help please identify this doll.

I purchased this at a estate sale . I can't find any information on her. She has no marks. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Ok, I just typed a long response that went off into the ozone... So I'm shortening it.

She looks a LOT like the 1940's sewing mannequins made by Simplicity,

so check them out. I don't believe they had the turning waists, and they were usually just molded hair, so perhaps someone wigged her? Does it come off?

how tall is she? Give more info, and perhaps someone can help more.
