Hi, thought it would be fun to do a doll a day.  Please join!  Every day, post one of your dolls.  It can be obscure, popular or only you love it.  Tell us who it is, who made it, a little bit about it and why you love it!  Only one a day and we can go on forever!....terri

CFK- Go smack that hubby! You aren't losing it!

Just this past week I realized I had a lot of F&B Honeys. I counted... 24... 24!!!! Who does that?!? I DO!!!

(and Honey isn't the focus of my collection! But obviously I'm drawn to her!)

Fragilebloom- I love Christian- he's fantastic! I'd love to take the plunge into the BJD's, but I can't seem to rein myself in from the 50's gals..... He is definitely a charmer. Did you get him all done up like he is, or is that something that you've put together?

And to share a doll- here's one of my Honeys walking her little dog~

Could you tell more about what a "Honey" doll is.   I've never heard of one, who makes her?

Here's one from me.    I got these 2 little neckid babies at a flea market.    I can't really remember the price, but it was cheap, maybe $12:

Re: A Doll A Day, please join!

I unexpectedly ran across info I had written down about the vintage baby dolls.   I wanted to put it into the original note, but you know how it is about not allowing editing (don't know what they are worried about).   Anyway, this is what I found:

The one on the left in the pic has a neck marking of AE57015, the other is more blurry, but MAY say 570AE with a A in a circle, maybe…
From what I can find out, it appears they may be Deluxe Reading Dolls, because of the AE in the markings.

Same with my Patti playpals. They all have different expressions!

This is one of the new 18" My Twinn dolls. They quit making the 23" ones.. 😞

There are two "Toni" dolls. One by American Character - the oone pictured here, and Ideal's "Toni" doll. Totally different look.

Re: A Doll A Day, please join!

Hi All,

I rescued this adoreble boy from goodwill. Could anyone tell me about him? He has K star R (There is number 9 in the star) and 114 in the back of his neck and 766 in the back near bottom of ceramic part. He is 15" tall.  Does he have any kind of value?

Re: A Doll A Day, please join!

He is a reproduction of an antique. Not very valuable but he sure is cute!
