How can this be ... summer months upon us already!
I got thrown off by the holiday on Monday and thought yesterday was Friday. I was all set to go garage saleing today and hubby says nope, gotta go to work ... it's Friday.
Hope June finds everyone doing well, keeping busy and chatting up a storm.

Am I the only one who didn't know about the three days of free listings from the 4-6 of June???? I just stumbled across that yesterday. Sure wish eBay would do better about informing us of these specials.

They do not do a very good job of that you are right.
Along to top right of the front page there is a place you can click on called "Notifications". This seems to help some with these notifications.
When becoming an ebay member they give us a big truck. (imaginary this please) The truck has a big huge pile of tools in the back all in a dis-organized way.
We need to learn exactly what all these tools do. Going to start a topic about this after writing this message. May help others not miss out on their specials.
Thank you for your kind thoughts on my improve ment. Much better being able to sit up doing things on here.
Take care,
DWB

Good morning ... the sun is shining ... the birds are singing and isn't it great to be alive on a day like this!
Hope everyone finds something positive to focus on today and have a great day.

Summer has definitely arrived here in Arkansas. Today it was over 90. But I'm not complaining...last year it started getting into the 90's in April and never cooled down.

The rain is back. What's new. We get a couple days of sunshine and a couple days of rain ... that's the Pacific Northwest.
This is the week I go to the coast with my daughter ... I am looking forward to it yet dreading it too. My anxiety about leaving home ... the change of environment and routine ... the drive there and back ... but the upside is the time with my daughter ... the fun of the festival and seeing the ocean.

Did the heat help reduce the dampness in your home? Was it you who had that problem?

Hope your trip goes well Kate. Something about being around one of our children just makes this old fella feel wonderful.
Be safe out there

Nope, wasn't me with the mold problem ... I think that was Janet ... but don't count on my old brain to remember accurately.
Woke to fog this morning ... eerie ... mid June and weird weather.
Getting very excited about going to the Midsummer Festival ... was browsing their website and it looks like my daughter and I will definetly be keeping busy seeing all the events ...
Well, I best get busy listing ...
Hope you all have a great day.

Seems like you get your share of those dreary days. Living up in Taxachusetts was like that. Drizzly raw days so many times.
Good for the apples however. Love those Maccoun the best. My wife makes apple pie out of about 1 zillion different kind of apples. Wow is it good.
Wishing you a loving trip with your little girl. I call my daughter my little girl so its my thinking like that.

Thanks, I have been sporadically packing throughout the day ... am getting very excited about going on the venture with my daughter.
Weather forecast calls for rain for the Astoria area where we will be but we sure aren't going to let it spoil our fun. We will just be prepared with umbrellas and raincoats!
Hope everyone has a delightful weekend.

It was me with the mold problem. We're having a drought here so between it being dry and the work they did to remediate has done some good. I put a hepa filter into the a/c. I'm also thinking about buying a de-humidifier. We haven't had rain but it's still humid...especially at night. My hygrometer never goes much below 50 now that it's hot. We're on our 7th day of over 90 degrees.

The mold problem thank you for letting me know it was you. I been concerned about ya.
My wife goes thru issues with dampness, low pressure centers, humidity, wind, alergies, and you name it. She has problems.
We been burning "eucolyptis" candles lately. not sure about the spelling but google search helps ya find it.
They seem to help her. And they make tea with the same stuff in it. Some honey and lemon in the tea helps sometimes too.
That filter change may help thats good. People dont realize how miserable it is when you have a hard time breathing. 😮
You in Arkansas? See now my old memory is doing ?:|
Take care,

Yes, I'm in Northeastern Arkansas, about 30 miles from the Missouri border. It's the Ozark foothills here and it's very nice.
Someone here told me to burn sage. It's got a very gentle scent and it's working. Nice thing is a lot of the bugs don't like it. Wish I could find something the cave crickets don't like!

Good morning all ...
Back from Astoria ... had such a wonderful trip ... it was so great to see the ocean again. The Scandinavian festival was fantastic ... so many beautiful costumes ... great music ... the sights and sounds and smells were the best. The weather was a little rainy but mostly just cloudy with really nice long sunbreaks. It was so nice to spend three days with my daughter and to share the festival with her. I am of Finnish decent so going to this festival was significant. Saw several groups of singers and dancers from Finland. Will try to post some pictures.
Hope you all had a great weekend too. Hard to believe it is Monday already.
