I have a watch that I can find very little information on and I need some help determining authenticity and value.
Name on face: VERDURA Swiss Made
Case Back: WATER RESISTANT SWISS MADE STAINLESS STEEL
Case Inside: Blank
Marks on Works: SWISS V8
The face has a full set of Roman Numerals and it has separate seconds. Press back case. The watch is very thin.

Go to one of the pawn shops in Glendale, CA. They will be able to help you out there. You can meet them in person or you can send them pictures.

It is almost certainly an ephemeral brand name for a basic quality watch, used by some retailer or other at some time in the past. It is cerainly not anything that would not be 'authentic' and the value would be very small.
Pictures would help establish the date, also you do not state if it is mechanical or quartz.

VERDURA, of course, is a luxury jewelry brand but yours sounds like a mass-produced line that appropriated the name.

For comparison purposes, here is what a true VERDURA watch looks like.

In the 90's, Verdura briefly did a stainless quartz watch with a beautiful guilloche enamel face, roman numerals and a separate second dial. It's about 34 mm wide and retailed for $1,000, very much on the low end for them. I looked at it when I was shopping there, so it's definitely them, and I just bought one on ebay for about $200.
