Mosaic Lamp Co - Need Help with signature

I have a pair of Lamps and 1 of them is Signed "Mosaic Co, Evanstan, Ill, Pat Pending".  I know that there was a Mosaic Shade Co listed in Chicao in 1905 but do you think this is same company and maybe they were in Evanston before Chicago?  Also are this Gilded Metal or some other type like Brass?  And 1 more questions, are those Greek Gods around the bottom.  Thank y'all so much for any insight you can give me.  Oh, and no, I do not have the shades.

Not Greek gods.  They'd be considered putti.  If you do an internet image search for "vintage lamp" and "putti garniture," other examples will come up.
