Information On Vintage Train

Hi I was going to post this in the toys section, but that section seems not to get many hits. So figured I'd try here seeing there is a lot of knowledgeable people who come on the forum. I am just trying to figure out more on a item. I got a box full of vintage shells for locomotives.  The ones that are interesting are metal and more than likely O scale and made by Atwater Models. I cannot find any on ebay or much about them only that around 1950 they got bought by Allnation, I believe. These are marked Atwater Models. So just seeing if anyone else can pull p any more information and maybe help determine a value. Ill try to get a pocture up but at the moment camera is on the fritz.

Re: Information On Vintage Train

I assume you found these:

http://www.tcawestern.org/an.htm

http://www.tcawestern.org/gmc.htm

https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/topic/atwater-models-all-nation

They're all rather dense, but all seem to include a lot of info about Atwater castings.  When I use my "find" function, I get many references to Atwater throughout.
