It is dated in the early 1900's. EBAY will not let me proceed with the listing, even thought there are many listings on EBAY with carver ivory listings. They have a policy, but there must be some rules that I have missed.

Read this, to understand what you may and may not do with ivory that you own:

As for other other listings on eBay, some people violate federal law and eBay policy by attempting to sell ivory here and, like all lawbreakers, most will get caught but a few wil not. Whatever you do, though, do not try to list your item again because it's not worth the risk of permanent suspension.

Since the time I was going to list this item, I may have made a mistake and it should have been listed as turned bone. Other dipping pens are listed with the same company as there maker. I will not list because I am only sure it is early 1900's. Thanks for your information.
