one set i don't think i've ever mentioned is my composition type set... no precious metals in it, just one of each of 39 different compositions pulled when i dropped my world set years ago...
they range from aluminum to zinc, with many types of coated, plated, clad, and bonded... those are the descriptions from Krause...
for example, there is a bronze plated steel, a copper coated iron, nickel bonded steel, etc...
one is copper-nickel clad nickel, and another is nickel clad copper-nickel... all sorts of combinations...
nothing extremely interesting in it, just something i did for fun while breaking up the huge set... but a couple kind of stand out... the copper example is a Turkey 40 para from 1859, and a 1992 20 francs from France with an outer ring of copper-aluminum-nickel, an inner ring of nickel, and a center plug of copper-aluminum-nickel... kinda/sorta a trimetal coin, but not really...
included in the same binder is a shape set... only 6 coins in it... triangle, diamond, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, and a dodecagon...
i haven't worked on building either one up... maybe some day...

Guatimoc coffee plantation tokens follow-up:
There are several more different Guatimoc tokens available:
Guatimoc 8 scallop edge with 5 point star on reverse.
Guatimoc square token with a half-moon plus an X on reverse.
Guatimoc 12 scallop edge with the number "1" on obverse. Reverse blank.
Guatimoc Octagonal brass token with number "2" on obverse. Reverse blank.
(Heron already has the Octagonal with Maltese style cross on reverse).
A coffee plantation token collector could have fun adding even more Guatimoc
tokens to the accumulation. (Perhaps in 2021?)....

15 Jan 21: Another update regarding 'shapes': Whilst Heron was searching through his Central & South American coin accumulation for a coin of Nueva Granada, Heron
found another brass token with the U - F - Co + coffee bean Logo. This token in a 2X2
coin holder was stuck fast to a coin 'flip' holding a coin of Nicaragua.
The U-F-Co token is a rectangle measuring 26.5mm X 19mm. It has nice 'rounded' corners.
There is also a hole in the center of this rectangular token. The hole measures 2.5mm dia and was formed with a punch rather than drilled. There are no drill marks a-tall.
Why this token had been placed in the coins of Nicaragua is a question Heron cannot
answer. Primarily because he cannot remember acquiring this token. Too many years
have passed and the memory grows dim. It was probably in the large batch of Costa Rica
tokens purchased in 1997. Or perhaps Heron was told by someone in the coin hobby that
it was a token of Nicaragua? In any case, this is a token with a specific different 'shape' and
perhaps the only rectangular token or coin Heron owns.
And the really good part is: It was already in the accumulation.
(One a these days Heron is going to search through ALL of the various 2X2 'boxes' to see
what can be found. This is more fun of coin & token collecting). Anyone having any
additional information regarding the U-F-Co with coffee bean 'logo' please share the
information. It will be appreciated.

the only "UF Co" ref i could find was for Dix Noonan Web auction T16 (google to find it) but i didn't see a coffee bean logo...
UF Co in the descriptions was for United Fruit Company...

Wow! That 'site' is one a the best displays of tokens Heron has ever seen. And we now know
for certain that U - F - Co translates to United Fruit Company. And also confirmed are the
various 'shapes'. Triangle, square, round, octagonal, oval, and one 'rectangle'.
Out of all the world-wide items displayed Heron has 2. And wants more! Especially those with sailing ships or sail/steam. Heron will have to 'search' to see if there is a Cocos & Keeling paper note somewhere in this office. Many thanks for the directions to that wonderful 'site'. Great assistance!

A situation report: This past week Heron acquired his first ever nickel-plated
zinc coin/token. A Kriegsgeld item of 1917. This composition & shape accumulating is becoming a really fun part of coin and token collecting!
