Re: To the buyer from the seller

I don't quite understate your post. Would you kindly re-phrase it in 50 words or less ?

Also, spellcheck is a handy feature to use when posting on an open forum.

Is English your first language?  If not, perhaps you can get someone to help you write this better.  I can't make heads or tails out of the bottom half especially.

Re: To the buyer from the seller

Hello James, yes some of these messages are difficult reading.  Perhaps my years as a UC Coast Guard Radioman (Morse Code and voice transmissions) help me somewhat.

A. Does the buyer see that shipping costs are going up all around.  (This could include plural buyers.)

B. Negative feedback has an effect on sales (or affect perhaps?)

C. 'I recently made 2 purchases of woman quarters'.

D. The first was 6 days late.

E. I got a refund because tracking said coin was delivered.

F. Starting after 'E' it gets a bit confusing so Heron will sorda para-phrase: writer ordered a 2nd shipment of woman quarters. Apparently the 2nd batch of quarters was more costly and buyer waited 14 days, seller was willing to refund but buyer said no, he (buyer) would wait.  At this point the story gets somewhat confusing and Heron admits it is somewhat difficult to weed out the primary 'story' of shipping and ordering.

G. The 'last' portion is also somewhat difficult but apparently comentarios regarding how 'buyer' handles order entering and tracking.

If you have been successful in transcribing the full message, pls share your translation(s).

Re: To the buyer from the seller

Punctuation is a wonderful thing, so is not typing in all caps! Please implement this in your posts! Oh, some of us do have actual stores you can walk into and buy coins.

Re: To the buyer from the seller

YESS!  In addition to buying coins at a shop, a young person with limited knowledge of numismatics can receive a good education.  Keeping eyes and ears open and mouth shut.  (All the older ex-military men in Heron's family told him that short phrase prior to Heron riding two different RR companies to reach basic training station.  The phrase works well). Heron is an example of receiving help from a coin shop owner.  Heron knew nada about coin grading in year 1960.  The year 1960 was the year that Heron first stepped into a coin shop.  And what luck, especially for an ex-Coastie, the owner of that first coin shop was a reserve officer LT in the US Navy.  And that guy taught Heron how to grade coins.  That coin shop owner also advised Heron on what U.S. coins to buy as investments.  That turned out great (for Heron).

Yes, building a good relationship with the coin shop folks is going to be really helpful.  One thing missing from that first coin shop was the 'bid board'.   However, there was another coin shop about 3 miles from numero uno.   Heron liked having fun bidding on bid board items.  Yes, coin shops were great inventions.  With a lot of educational opportunities almost every visit.

Re: To the buyer from the seller

It sounds like you have a mess and it is a bit challenging to unpack.

One thing that I noted was you said that costs are going up.  While that is true there are a number of hacks sellers can to save money.  At some point I am going to build online presentation for everyone that can show you cool things you may not know that can save you a lot on your shipping.  Yes, there has been a decline in eBay traffic for the last year thanks to Facebook Marketplace.  I have stubbornly refused to try selling there, but I might start listing a few better items on there from time to time to see how well they do.
