Note: Token is 20mm dia - round - Zinc - Almost Unc.
Note: The word Stadtamhof is one word. It is the name of a suburb
of Regensburg Deutschland.
Obverse: Large 10 center. Leg: "ANTON KNABLE 1917 STADTAMHOF"
Reverse: Rendition of Mercury seated holding caduceus in hand.
Ship's anchor and monogrammed shield.
Note: Mint = Konrad Balmberger Muenzpraegenstalt Nurnberg.

**This is an interesting item to add to the small accumulation because
it is a private issue and by Anton Knabl. Anton was a fairly famous artist
back in 1917. The artwork on this token is far above most of these war
time issues. Extremely good artwork. And being a Zinc token grading
Almost Unc puts it in a special category (for el Heron's accumulation).
Yes, a very nice addition at a reasonable cost...! This is a great hobby
for a lifetime. And this nice token is Nr 546 towards the 'goal'. And this
nice token is NOT FOR SALE nor is it being offered for sale. Not 4 sale
period**.
