scammers,liars,cheats trying to rip off e bayers

beaters,april 24 th,receive message from loser saying is item still for sale,please text me know and leaves phone number. today  same loser ,different user name e mails is item still for sale,please text me now and leaves number.call ebay they will check into it.i find it not funny that a loser can put in contact info in a message,but if we as good e bayers put are contact info in any message it would be removed in a second.

The scammers know how to disguise the contact information so the computers don't recognize it as such.

eBay has no way to check each new listing since millions of them are posted daily.  All you need to know is if an email address or phone contact info is placed in a listing, it is likely a scam, and reporting the listing/item is all you can do.  Chances are the listing will be pulled fairly quickly. eBay really does not like listings that can lead to off ebay transactions.

eBay never gives out information about their investigations. In this case the listing and or the seller will be removed. That's the only way to know  how ebay dealt with the issue.

If this thread was originally on the Seller Hub board and moved here to Bidding and Buying, then you are sadly mistaken about what the Seller Hub Board is for. That board is for issues with the eBay Seller Hub listing management interface - not a general support board (Seller Hub does not mean "a place for sellers to come together and gab and chat" which is what 75% of the posts on that board are these days)
