making offers on multiple items from the same seller

Is there a way to make an offer on multiple items from the same seller?  Would be great if you could add items to your cart and make an offer on the entire bundle.  Great for seller and buyer!  reduces shipping and time to ship

You can only make individual offers on individual items.

Sellers who charge shipping are likely willing to combine shipping to reduce cost. Discuss that with the seller ahead of time to avoid disappointment - trust me - LOL.

HOWEVER ... one way around all of this? Send the seller a message.

"I would like to offer you $150 for X, Y & Z"

If the seller is a "big" seller, they're unlikely to respond or pay attention, they have enough to deal with. Smaller sellers will react better.

Best part... it's advantageous to the buyer because it throws the seller off their game. Seller is no longer looking at X price for this item and Y price for that item. It's a total price for multiple items. It changes the seller's train of thought and could.possibly help you. Great negotiating technique 😆

@aquadreamin57ju,

Sellers are not required by ebay to offer combined shipping.  If they do not mention being willing to combine shipping on their listings, you should message them and as if they will before making offers.

The Cart only works with Buy It Now fixed price items, not with items you intend to make offers on or auctions that are still running because the final price has not been decided. If you win auctions or have offers accepted they will appear in one box on your purchase history from which you can request a total.  or then you can add them to the cart to request a total, since they are then a Buy it Now, fixed price listing.

If you go to make an offer and are asked to fill in payment information, the seller will not be able to send you a combined shipping invoice. Your payment source will be charged immediately if the offers are accepted,  The seller can combine shipping and refund the difference if they want to, but you should contact them to ask about that first.

If your seller has the Best Offer feature on all of their listings, You should check their feedback profile page to see if they are an experienced seller. Many newer sellers use the Quick listing tool which adds Best Offer to listings whether the seller wants to accept offers or not.

Those sellers may not even be aware that they have been opted into requesting payment info for immediate payment by ebay which does not allow them to send a combined shipping invoice.

Have you tried emailing the seller and tell him what the best offer you want to pay for each of the items that you like? Ask them if they can combine the shipping too. Not every seller combines the shipping. Some can't do it at all if the item is fragile or oversize.  Combining might make the items cost more if the box is oversize.  Do not forget to give them your zipcode  and ask them what would be the shipping cost if he/she agrees to the best offers you sent and if he/she can combine the items.

@aquadreamin57ju

If eBay is requiring you to provide a payment source up front prior to making an offer, you may wish to read here, as that making multiple offers for combined total/adjust shipping  will no longer be an option for you UNLESS.....

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Buying/Payment-info-required-when-making-an-offer/m-p/33708723#M444945

....the seller is willing to change the default setting on the last requirement on this page:

https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements

If there is no best offer displayed, likely the seller is not interested in bartering.  It used to be a policy violation to make offers anyway though messaging, but that is no longer the case.

Not sure if this is helpful, but I have a seller that wants to make an offer on 7 items.  I could not see it on my computer.
