links visited not highlighted

Started several days ago, visited links not highlighted. Makes it difficult to search. Seeing that this has happened any number of times in the past. Any way to wake up the responsible coders?

I use a computer when shopping on ebay, and any time I open a search results page and look at listings on it the links I open only remain highlighted while I am logged in. If I log out and go back to the page none are highlighted any longer. It has been that way since I can remember. If you use a portable device and the app, I would imagine the same thing happens.

Running Firefox on iMac. Makes no difference whether logged in or not. (In fact, tried with different browser - same result).
