how to change to best offer on already existing listing?

I contacted the seller because there was no Best Offer and I wanted to see if my offer would be taken. Seller said yes but now he doesn't know how to proceed for me to buy at the offered price. Any suggestions I can pass to him?

Is it an auction listing that already has bids??

If it is, there is no way to change it.

IF it is a BIN, seller just need to go in and edit the listing by checking the box to allow "offers" OR go in and change the price so you can purchase at that price.

In the "contact seller" page, there is often a "submit an offer" option. I don't recall exactly how it's worded, but it will be similar to that. If it's there, you can use that to make your seller an offer and if he accepts it, it will automatically end the item - IF there are no bids (auctions).

If you want to get the very best advice possible, let us know what type of listing it is (auction or buy it now) and someone will probably be along shortly to give you the best options available to you.
