Hi, I am wondering how I can stop getting messages constantly in my inbox on eBay?
In my account settings, I have turned off all the choices i find asking if I want to be contacted with special offers or other info in "Communication Preferences"
But I keep getting these messages in my inbox on eBay for "recommendations", "Special price for you". "Are you still looking for", "5% discount" ++++
I have tried to turn off everything in the settings saying I do not want any messages that are not connected to a specific order I have bought or a question I have sent to a seller.
But I keep getting these messages, I have tried to send message to eBay asking them to stop these messages, but they just keep coming... Any input/suggestions?

Just confirming--since eBay recently made changes to the page--you've cleared all the boxes under "Marketing Communications" so they're empty? I never receive any emails like the ones you've described, so I'm sure we can find a way to eliminate yours!
Are you using the desktop platform or the mobile app? Here's something to look at on the desktop platform:
Account > Account Preferences > Communication Preferences > Marketing Preferences

Send a message to your seller, asking politely that you no longer recieve these notices.
If they refuse or ignore your request, you can add a Response to your original feedback, politely explaining that he has refused to stop the barrage of offers. You can do this indefinitely- no time limit.
You could also add the seller to your Blocked Bidders List and further Block any communication with them there. (Yes, he isn't a buyer, but there is no Blocked Seller List.)

You can add a seller's id to your BBL , but it does absolutely nothing.

It doesn't sound like these emails are directly from sellers - eBay spams like crazy. It's why I use a throw-away email account for eBay stuff - I don't need to see it.

I get literally NO "spam" email from eBay. I get emails regarding saved searches I've subscribed to and emails regarding activity for specific transactions--purchase confirmation, shipping, etc. That's it.
