This morning I get up to check out synthesizer listings as I do every day. I always apply the item location filter to Australia Only as international postage is prohibitive on these items. However, today, all I see is Item location: See All, but there are no options in "see all", so I have to scroll through a ton of listings that I have utterly no interest in.
Seriously eBay, what is the point of this? Forcing me to look at a ton of listings that I have no interest in is not suddenly going to make me want to buy them...

@Anonymous
I just went to ebay.com.au to check, and I still see the "Australia" option under "Item Location".
It is possible that eBay is updating things, so perhaps clearing eBay cookies and cache files might help. I have also seen cases where an overly aggressive ad blocker can cause problems with filter choices (mainly in popup menus, but possibly side menus as well), so it might be worth pausing your ad blocker to check if that affects things.
If nothing else works, you can try adding
&LH_PrefLoc=1
to the end of your search URL if you are using your local eBay site. If you use that same code on ebay.com, it will search for US-only items.

You are on ebay.com, the primarily US site where the primary location filter is US only. (There is one for other countries in Advanced Search.)
To get to the one in the search results right column you'd need to be in the Australian site, ebay.com.au, instead. If that's where you thought you were something redirected you over here. Keep an eye on your address bar to see when you are being redirected and then go back instead of doing a search over here.
