Did the message explicitly say they were fake, or simply that they were unable to authenticate? The authentication process doesn't just check for counterfeits, but also verifies that the condition matches that of the listing. Maybe it's something to do with that.
Or maybe Ebay doesn't want anyone to sell these sneakers from that guy who I refuse to name . Did you get your sneakers back? You might try another place to sell them.
I doubt ebay has banned anything related to Crazye West, in fact, there are still plenty of Yeezies for sale, but this particular listing, which I was able to look at earlier, has now gone poof, so the plot thickens...
