What happened to the ability to put your won auction items in the cart? I’m confused. I used to be able to put all my won auctions in the cart so I can pay for them at once. Now they claim, since they are in your purchase history, they cannot be added to your cart and must be paid separately.
Huh?????
Also, cannot add offers to your cart. They must be paid one at a time or pay full price. Sellers are missing out on sales because of these policies. Buyers are simply moving on, me included.

Every auction-style win that's still awaiting payment is automatically gathered together in your cart @majesticcrooner to be paid all at once for one shipping address, or individually as an option to different shipping addresses.
Have you checked the cart here for your items?

Yes not there. And no link to put it there either

Are you using the App or are you manually logged in so you get whole site availability? There are some things you can do when manually logged in that you can't do with the app and vice, versa.
If you are winning auctions on the same day from one seller, you can request a total from your purchase history and pay for them at one time, you do not need the cart to do that.
By the way, ebay turned back on auto pay for auctions, and opted sellers back into it without telling them again.

Were you required to fill out a Payment Source from BEFORE being allowed to bid?
If you filled it out, your items likely have already been paid for, though they are supposed to give you an hour to change the source.
eBay is once again auto enrolling BUYER IDs in what has been termed 'auto-pay' for auctions. Once your ID is forced into compliance, and you meet up with a seller that still retains the defaults awarded them by eBay, this is what is going to happen. No more combined invoice/reduced shipping will be available for multiple purchases from the same seller.
Though they have been moved around on the page and renamed Buyer Rules, I would assume many sellers still do not know that they exist. The seller can turn them off:
https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
Buyer Rules:
*Require buyers to provide a payment method before they place a bid.
*Require buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer.
Some sellers think this is wonderful, and don't mind paying extra for ten transactions at 40 cents each, and fees on individual shipping charges instead of one 40 cent hit on a combined order at a reduced shipping cost.
I buy mostly antique vintage jewelry and sterling items. Most of this is sold at auction. If I see that required "form" for auto-billing, I just back out and find a seller who doesn't use it. No telling how many PAYING buyers just move on as well. If I won ten auctions with $5 shipping each, I would be paying $50 + the tax on same for shipping instead of $6 for a combined order. I don't have a big "S" for stupid on my forehead.

Tried both the app and browser. Called this morning and they informed me I could not add the auction item to my cart. Told me to contact the seller, have him cancel the sale and relist as buy it now. Crazy! Just add it to my cart. I don’t get it.

Still being asked to pay, so I pretty sure it’s not paid for. But I have several other things to pay for. So I want to keep it all together for a project. Pay for it all at once.
apparently, it’s for auction only. If it includes “buy it now” or “best offer” you have the option to add it to your cart. I simply jump at the chance to get “no bids” items and pay them all at once. But no! It’s like going to Walmart and scanning each item and having to pay for each item one at a time

@majesticcrooner
eBay is going to tell you to PAY until you do often more than once a day. Have you "won" more than ONE auction from the same seller?
07-02-2024 03:34 PM
No. Different sellers. But I’m not paying all separately. I’m gonna refuse to pay till they add these items to my cart. I’m not paying separately

I'm a huge fan and practitioner of standing on principle. But please realize that if you refuse to pay for longer than four days the sellers will likely cancel for nonpayment. That will result in you getting a nonpayment strike for each listing. And once you get two or more strikes you'll find yourself blocked for the next year by many sellers.

Then what can be done? And why is this now happening? Just put the won auction items in my cart like it used to be. Why am I forced to pay for each item separately? This is crazy and unacceptable.

@majesticcrooner
One other thing you can try is to go to your PURCHASE HISTORY and see if you can check off and pay for everything there. At any rate, if you are trying to collect merchandise for a particular project, you cannot wait to pay for the items you have already collected via auction wins from others. You get two unpaid item cancellations and your shopping on eBay is going to be very limited for at least a year. You can get these from any seller if you don't pay in 96 hours.
It is hard to tell what is happening to you at this point. All my auction wins end up in my cart, but I only bid on auctions from sellers that do not require me to put up a payment source in order to bid.
If you accept offers from sellers, they don't go in your cart anymore. Each has to paid for separately even if they are from the same seller. That is eBay's latest plan.
If you are just bidding on auctions, not using any offer or counter offer program, no telling.

Have you tried clicking to pay for one of them to see if Ebay groups all of them together? My past experience has been if I won several auctions from different sellers and if go to pay all the purchases are grouped together. There was also a link to ungroup them to pay separate. The email I receive from Ebay says pay for item X and when I go to pay it will be for all unpaid items.

I’ll try again, but kept giving me only the option to pay for one. I’d sure like more options. Like paying for multiple offers from sellers at once.

Apparently ebay doesn't care.
Like it or not, another ebay purported site improvement .
It's best to not receive non payment strikes on your account.
