Because you named the seller, that info was removed. However, you can give us details of their transactions such as How long have they been selling. The seller's country of registry, total feedback in the last month as well as how many non-positives.
Did you buy something that had a very good to too good to be true price, an estimated delivery time frame of over 14 days. If so it is possible you bought from a hi-jacked account.

Yes, it sometimes hard to understand why any seller with that many negatives can remain a seller here, while other sellers could be suspended for much less negative feedback. I believe the reason is that eBay looks at the total number of items sold. Real large, MEGA sellers with thousands of sales per month can still have an overall, total percentage rating on transactions that is within the tolerated limit, even if many of their feedback is bad.
There are several things you could do:
(1) Leave appropriate and factual feedback
(2) Call eBay and tell them what happened
(3) If the Customer Service Rep is not helping you, ask to speak with a supervisor.
I hope this bad experience will not discourage you from buying on eBay again.
Have a nice day

Did you buy from them and if so, didn't see the 80 negatives?

I think this is the item the OP purchased: 352867123049
Feedback is not horrible for the sales volume.

I look at the feedback score. 99%? 80%?
Both buying and selling aren't perfect here.
Sometimes negative feedback is small potatoes.
Sometimes it's (in my opinion) pretty bad.
I've wondered the same thing you have here.
Anything that dips below 95% (for me) bears reading the nature of the negative feedbacks.
Anything above is the cost of doing business here.
I had a stellar feedback for years till I started running into a patch of bad transactions.
By leaving negative feedback, (honest feedback) I felt it was my duty to warn others.
But then I learned it bites me in the butt too. Some sellers won't sell to me now because I left negative FB.
I'm a problem child. A trouble maker. A bad seed. A whiner................ you get the picture.
Can't win for losing sometimes.
And yet, I keep coming back.
Go figure.
Happy E-baying.

Because all ebay cares about is $$$$...Buyers be damned!
You've got that backwards. There is very little a buyer can do and not come out smelling like roses...even when they don't deserve to
