Why can't Ebay Provide a way to block items from individual countries - like Japan?

Am I on Ebay Japan or Ebay?   20 years on now and Ebay still can't manage to provide a way to block individual countries despite 1000's of complaints/suggestions to do so.

Many item categories I am interested in will display 100's of exorbitantly overpriced items from Japan which I have no intentions of ever purchasing or buying anything from Japan in general.  That means I have to use the "US ONLY" box on every new search I do - which not only  blocks Japan but ALL other countries!  Amazing lack of programming ability here - why not make it a global variable that can be set up front so I don't have to check the US ONLY box for every single search I do?

@private5230,

eBay does promise sellers access to a world wide selling market, and if they gave buyers a chance to block specific counties or a U.S. only block could be made permanent fewer sellers would use the site, including U.S. based ones.

Since you mention exorbitantly overpriced items why not use the price filter in the left column of a search results page Price [ $min  ]  to [ $max ]  to filter out the higher/highest priced items.

According to the latest data there are currently 195 recognized countries in the world. Ebay can't give the option to block some of them without giving options to block each of them. So I don't think it has anything to do with programming ability. It has to do with logistics.
