Sometimes sellers enter a very high price as a place holder until they can update the inventory quantity. It is not unusual. Thought being that no one would buy it at that price, so it holds the place. BUT beyond that, sellers are permitted to buy things from other places and list for a profit. That's capitalism. Buyers are allowed to search and buy wherever they want; so are sellers. If a buyer chooses to buy it here, they choose to buy it here.
It's entirely possible this seller bought at the company's web site because it is drastically reduced and he is offering it for a profit.
As previously said, the detection software is now VERY sensitive and many are getting violations.
