Watchlist Note To Self Feature

Hello, I've recently discovered a very useful little feature available on my Watchlist, Bids & Offers, and probably other pages as well.  It's at the bottom of the action buttons to the right of each item in the list, and it allows you to write yourself a sort-of virtual Post-It note with useful information, perhaps notes about the item, or other useful jottings.  In this case, I used it to write notes to myself about the dimensions of some useful replacement sticky mouse feet.  Has anyone else used this feature, and have they found it useful?

Re: Watchlist Note To Self Feature

The note feature on the watchlist is handy except for the annoying bug. If you buy something on your watchlist and then want to remove a note, you have to remove it via the watchlist, before you delete the item on your watchlist.

Otherwise your note is permanent on your item in the purchased list. Yes you do get the option to delete it there but refresh the page, and it's back.

Re: Watchlist Note To Self Feature

That's interesting!  I've just tried out what you described, but in my case, I was able to delete the note from both my watchlist and my purchase list, and it didn't return on refreshing the page.  I guess that's down to eBay constantly modifying the software, and/or any temporary glitches which may be present.

On another note, I still can't get used to both my purchases and my sold items being labelled as Orders!

Maybe it has changed but for me it's been that way for many years.

Just to repeat - if I delete the note from my watchlist it also disappears from the purchase list as it's meant to. But if I delete the item in my watchlist before removing the note then I'm stuck with that note in the purchase list.

Ah, I see what you mean!  Still, for me that wouldn't be a massive problem...

I'm still annoyed about the word "Orders" appearing all over the place to describe both purchases and  sold items!
