Videos not showing in the photos section

Hi. Can someone help me please how to find the video in the listing photos section when buying an item?

Some sellers tell me they added a video in the photos section. Never any video is shown in my (updated) Ebay app for Android. Are videos only available for Iphones?

I do not use the app or a phone for my ebay shopping, so I do not know what a page looks like on it. However, on a computer there is the large photo and to its left thumbnails if you hover over the lowest an arrow appears and tapping on it causes several more to appear. Maybe that is where the video is. It's also possible that the seller's video did not upload because the file did not comply with ebay's allowable size.   Have you tried using your phone's browser to login to the site the classic way with your username and password so you get the full site version, instead of the abbreviated App version?

Yes. I checked the desktop version and still the same problem.

Seller showed me a screenshot of his app showing the video.

Since the item appears to be one listed on ebay's German site ebay.de login to that site and search by entering the item number.  If the video shows up try playing it.

FYI, Germany's power supply is different from our AC based household current 120v. Their's is 230v so the player would not likely work in the U.S. Look at the image of the plugs their household electronics use, below

Hi, is this still happening to you?  I have iphone and this has been happening to me the last month or so.  Videos work on my computer, it works on my husbands iphone  but not on my phone -- our settings and versions of the app are identical.  Updated the app several times since this started with no luck.  Contacted ebay for business and was told they would "put a ticket in for this".  So frustrating and I wonder how many other SHOPPERS  this is happening to and they don't even know there is a video that they are missing.

I'm also having this issue, I can't see the videos of my own items. I contacted Ebay support and I spoke to someone who said both of the listings in question, do have the videos attached and he could view them.

I'm so confused. I have an android phone and this also has been happening for like a month.

It is better to start your own topic rather to piggy back on someone else's older one. Perhaps if you post an item number for one of your listings that supposedly does not have a video you posted on it. We can tell you if there is or is not a working video on your listing. 

I see that your Buy It now listings all have Best Offer in them which indicates you may be using ebay's standard listing tool. To upload videos, you need to be using their Advanced listing tool, ignore their blurb about it only being for high volume or business sellers. If you switch to the Advanced tool, you can decide whether or not to have best offer on all of your listings.
