Unwanted notifications on Android

I'm familiar with how to turn off notifications. I've turned everything off but I keep getting when I open my Android device offers to buy things. There's nowhere I found to turn these off. Here's a screenshot.

If you flip off eBay 

then you won't get "ny" more notifications.

Hi. And thanks! Yes, I know I can turn off _all_ communications, but then I won't know if I'm outbid, or if an item ships, or stuff like that. I would still like to be in the eco-system, but it's annoying to constantly be sold things, plus it takes up valuable screen real estate. But I do appreciate it.

Settings - Apps - Ebay - Notifications - Notification Catagories

Categories you can turn on or off are:

General notifications

Order Updates

Recommendations and Rewards

Saved searches notifications

Selling notifications

Shopping updates

Silent notifications

When you tap on each notification you can also have it set to silent or alert.

Honestly I'm not sure which notification you need to turn off to not get the ads from Ebay. Even when you tap on the notification, it does not tell you exactly what the notification is for. If it was under shopping updates, would that also turn off notifications you want after you buy something? What are general notifications.
