Can anyone tell me what is the absolute latest I can file an item not received after purchase date? I'm very patient, but am waiting on over $16,000 worth of items (purchase price) that were purchased on ebay and shipped via USPS. I want to give the sellers literally as much time as possible, because I know it is not their fault, and I don't know what kind of action ebay takes against sellers for buyers who file claims, but I also want to make sure I am protected in the event the items don't arrive. Thank you!
PS- Sellers, I would seriously avoid the USPS like the plague right now. The priority mail packages I am actually receiving are averaging over 20 days. Priority mail express is average 10, and Registered packages are disappearing in the system all together it seems.

It's not tied to the purchase date. The deadline for filing an INR claim is 30 days after the latest estimated delivery date.
eBay realizes that packages are running late and has extended the period before an INR claim can be closed after it is filed. Check the announcements board.

When is the estimated delivery date? You have 30 days from that date to open a not received case on eBay. If you paid with PayPal you have 180 days from the purchase date. If you paid with a credit card you have 60 days to 6 months to file a chargeback with tbe card co. depending on the credit card co.
