All other arguments and observations on this thread aside, I will agree with that one.  In no other comparable developed nation is the gap between what the workers and top few in so-called management make so ludicrously huge as it is in the U.S. 

 

And it was not always so here, in the days when the U.S. was building prosperity and creating its middle class.  We all know the story of Henry Ford, who paid his workers nearly double the going wage to create a stable workforce -- and to give them enough income to buy the cars they were making.

Competition, including from B&Ms. eBay has fewer and fewer buyers, as well - numbers are below 2018 levels and the competition has boomed since then.
