Suprise items added when paying.

I was just paying for an auction win. Then another item came up to be paid for. I looked at it and it said " this is an item you might like to by also ".     If your not watching out, you could click that too  thinking your paying for a purchase.   Cheeky........

I saw that too. It's some sort of impulse buy scheme. 
I wonder if there's a way to opt out of those. 🧐
