Hi, I'm trying to request support online, but it redirects me to a call. How do I do it with chat?

If you tell us what your issue is we can probably help you. The Chat reps work for a 3rd party call/chat center and they have to lookup things in order to answer. Many of us know the issues and their solutions.

The option to chat live with an agent doesn't always appear, it seems to depend on agent availability.
The option usually is there early morning when CS opens (5:00 am PT)
If you don't want to post your issue in this public forum, you can also reach out to the social media teams for assistance. They are very experienced.
Only use Private DM Messaging - do not post your account info publicly.
Give them your User ID, your real name/address/country, the email attached to your account, Item #, Case # if applicable, and explain the issue in detail.
They usually respond in a day or two.
