For some reason I can not post any responses to my original message with the same Subject. Many answers regarding how to check vendor feedback etc. Which I already know about and do. How can I say this without sounding too political...
...I do not care to do business with any vendors based in Communist China. PERIOD. I don't care if their feedback reviews are 100% on a million sales. So, back to my original complaint; Ebay stop showing sellers IN CHINA who SHIP FROM US when someone searches for US only. It's a simple do. And I know there are many buyers who agree that it should be done. Change the search parameters to include item location. That's so we don't get 7 pages of 200 search results each that we have to check every one to be sure it's a US located seller. OK? Great. Get 'er done.

Not going to happen because those Chinese sellers are eBay's bread and butter.

It makes no economic sense for a Chinese seller to ship from a US warehouse. First, he would have to pay to have the items shipped to the US. Then he would have to pay the warehouse for storage and handling. Finally, he would have to pay the USPS shipping rates as opposed to the highly subsidized China Post rates.
Therefore I would suspect any seller registered in China but with US item locations to be misrepresenting the item location. Unfortunately, such misrepresentation does interfere with US only search results. All you can do, after the fact, is report the items.

"First, he would have to pay to have the items shipped to the US. Then he would have to pay the warehouse for storage and handling. Finally, he would have to pay the USPS shipping rates as opposed to the highly subsidized China Post rates."
And in turn can command a higher selling price for being a U.S. based shipper. It's literally how importers work.
"Therefore I would suspect any seller registered in China but with US item locations to be misrepresenting the item location."
Your generalization would be wrong. Here's a Hong Kong seller that uses warehouses in the US.

I'm sorry. I really do apologize. It appears I wasn't clear enough in my initial post. I DO NOT BUY FROM COMMUNIST CHINA SELLERS PERIOD. SHIPPING FROM WAREHOUSES IN THE USA OR NOT.
Did everyone understand that? Hope so. EBay is consciously playing games. They know these sellers are by and large dishonest and they still refuse to include a search parameter for VENDOR VENDOR VENDOR location. Not just item location.
