Hello all.
I bought a shipping label through ebay, but the item has not arrived yet. Should have arrived by yesterday.
Buyers is getting impatient and I'm stressing.
I bought the shipping service: USPS select parcel ground. But I see a UPS tracking number and it says that UPS has not received the package yet?
Where do I find the label on ebay that I bought and how can I prove I shipped it and track it?
Thanks

Maybe a mod can move it this topic to the selling subforum. I was having some issues with the site while posting.
Thanks

On the label prep page that s*s*t provided the link to, you might find that you bought UPS Ground by accident. This might have been partly because eBay has started phasing out access to purchasing Parcel Select Ground postage, so many sellers aren't being shown that option at all.
IMHO you should rethink offering Parcel Select even after USPS recovers from the current backlog. For Zones 1 - 4, the USPS online price for Priority Mail is literally 10 cents more than Parcel Select Ground, and for Zones 5 - 8 the difference is less than a dollar. If you're a TRS you get a 3% discount when purchasing Priority labels through eBay, which makes it cheaper than Parcel Select.
IMHO Parcel Select ground should only be offered when necessary such as for hazmat or Oversize packages (i.e., length-plus-girth above the Priority limit of 108 inches).

so what do I do? In 'shipment labels' it says it's a UPS ground label, and under 'order details' it's a USPS parcel select ground label.
So, how do I track the package, because it just says UPS never picked it up. How do I prove that I shipped it ?
I'm worried it was stolen from the mailbox or maybe the USPS took it even though it's a UPS label?
thanks 🙂

Did you take the package to the P.O. and drop it off in the outgoing bin in the lobby or put it in your mailbox? If you did either of those things call your local P.O. and ask them to search for the package. If you put it in your mailbox or someplace at your home where your carrier might have picked it up by mistake, the package may still be at your P.O.
At this point you had better tell your buyer about the mistake, and hope they will be understanding. I would call the P.O. first to see if they can locate the package. Since your tracking information doesn't show an acceptance scan, if the buyer files an Item Not Received dispute, you will lose and have to refund them. You may want to ask if at this point they want to cancel. If they say yes, cancel the transaction using Buyer requested cancellation, and refund them ASAP.

OP said the package "should have arrived by yesterday" so the chances that it's at their PO are slim.
I would have thought that a package that was dropped in a bin or accidentally picked up would be Return To Sender when USPS discovered that it had no USPS postage on it. But since it has been a few days, that's probably not going to happen. I wish I could offer more help or hope.

Return to sender packages get the lowest priority of service, and with Covid employee shortages and holiday package traffic at its peak, the package may be sitting at their local P.O. until sometime after Christmas, before it is even considered for being returned.

I ended up refunding the buyer soon after I posted this thread.
I see now that the item arrived december 23rd after all (tracking).
So is there a way to get my money back from the buyer ?
Thanks 🙂
